Great information and feedback thanks Paper.

I'm going to try a little of all of that.

I need to go look at them closer, but they don't feel like leather.

That's them, on the feet of Mr. High Speed (Ok.. it's me) at Shannonville Motorsports Park in Ontario, Canada during a BMW track day.. And no, I'm not in last place.. I was actually in first place, with the course's lead rider (insurance issues) just in front of me, out of the picture..

Cabrito Those books look killer. I love the Revzilla videos.

The reason I went with the Adventure was the Velcro closure on the upper half of the boot. My thinking was that I could easily get my pants over it.

I found one about how the Adventure stood up to a crash. In the video he mentions the squeaking and he also says they are leather and plastic, but I don't think that is true. From what I've been able to find is that they are not leather.

Paper Yeah, they're leather.. Neetsfoot is available anywhere they sell shoes (including Walmart) and it works well on fake leather.. I have an old pair of Gearne boots that I use it on all the time and it works perfectly..

Discovery boots..

Cool,
are yours made out of Leather?

Mine are not and I think that is the problem. I'm going to look up Neetsfoot oil just the same though

Do your boots squeak? Mine squeak like crazy, but I hear that some of them do.
