Tom Schmitz Paper -

The Colorado that is west of I25 is chock-full of fantastic roads, scenery and wee towns. I think one would need at least two weeks to really appreciate it, and you'd be on the move the entire time.

Set aside three weeks or more so that you can get in some fishing and visiting!

Paper Fantastic report, Tom!! Thanks for showing us (ok, mostly me) the other side of a trip to Colorado.. I'm always coming in from the East, and you're making me want to continue West some time..

Tom Schmitz Spec -

Cedar City to Tonopah - 'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'. Turn. 'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr r'. Turn. 'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'. Stop.

Rinse, lather, repeat.

The oil consumption was indiscernable. Yay!

Spec Nice trip!

How was the ride from Cedar City to Tonanpah? Looks like about 200 miles of straght road.

BTW how's the oil consumption now?

Not so lucky. Elk we saw, and deer aplenty. Coyotes, too.

The Stebel is a good 'critter horn'.

planalp Sounds like a great ride. Did you get lucky enough to see any of the Bighorn Sheep in RMNP?

Oh dear. An epic fail.

"They are now but a rumbly in my tumbly", Tom was barely able to confess.
