Clocks 'N such

My GPS gives me time and speedo.

But I really want an accurate temp. meter.
One that responds to air temp passing by and not effected by engine heat.

I've got one that I tried to mount up in the passing air. It works ok, but doesn't seem to respond very fast to changes.
I can feel differences in temp. going in and out of shaded areas and in cold weather, higher elevation changes. The thermometer is slow to respond to those changes.

VACommuter I have a nice little clock that I secured with 3M dual Lock. I transfer it back and forth depending which KLR I'm riding that day. Works great on the road but baby-head rocks on jeep trails tend to shake it loose.

bw3577 Like the quick mod. I just installed the Rallye windshield system from Happy Trails and it comes with a dash. Thinking of mounting a clock on it. Im 5' 9" and the windshield does help with directing the wind up & over instead of right in your face like the stock on did.
Thanks for the info & ride on.

Al in Ogden [QUOTE=NH Thumper;91762]In June I added a clock to my dash. I got a child's sports watch at the dollar store ($1), removed the straps and stuck it on with double sided foam tape.

Good idea! How about using Velcro tape? Who cares if some jerk steals a dollar watch?

It was not marked as water-proof, but it has survived several rain storms. Even if the next rain storm kills it, I've got a second one as a backup.
I could buy about 35 of them for the price of one Formotion Motorcycle Clock.
Yes, I'm a cheap KLRista.
