I live in Boston, but spend more time N and W of the city as that's where I work.

Cool Riding from Lynnfield Ma to Sugar Hill, NH early Saturday

On Saturday 8/4, I am leaving my house about 5:30 am to meet others at Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill, NH at about 8:30 am. Then a long day of riding back roads and back to Lynnfield late. I am probably riding up alone. Wouldn't mind a wing man.

The riding is GREAT in West Massachusetts. Y'know, the other Massachusetts! Ride the Berkshires. Good camping, too. I'll be there when the snow's gone.

I grew up in Massachusetts. Lived there until my midthirties...Pictures would be appreciated.

I miss my yankee roots! Tree roots....huge granite rocks...apple orchards...foliage...cape cod...the list is endless.

Hugs,

~Swish~

Swish,
If I could figure out the picture thing on these forums, I'd post some for you.
Best I can do now is to invite you to MySpace page:

http://www.myspace.com/runningrigging

Lots of West Massachusetts pics there. Though none on the bike cause I just bought my '08 KLR in November after a 30 year lay off so I've just been riding in circles in the garage! lol
I've traveled and lived throughout the country and cruised my own sailboats in the tropics and finally at age 50 figured out I'll ALWAYS come back here to West Massachusetts. This is my home. And know what? I've come to realize the true beauty of my own back yard! More adventures are in the planning that involve a dual sport motorcycle, this time, though, I know I'll be comming back. :-) Where did you move away to? Kansas or something!

Gary,
Create an account at photobucket.com then upload your pictures to there. Once uploaded, have the forum open and your album on photobucket opened. You then find the pic you want to post and click on the IMG option under the picture, this copies it, then here in your post you just right click and paste. Do a preview of your post and make sure the pic posted correctly. I also found out you can adjust the size of your pictures uploaded to photobucket, I use the 1024x768 option on photobucket, this makes a really nice big picture to see. Make sure to have the size option set before you upload. Hope this helps...

Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

Thanks DX. I've printed your clear instructions and will give it a try. Don't have any motorcycle pics yet ( unless somebody has a strange desire to see me riding in circles in my garage!) Maybe I'll post a pick of S/V Buddy....
