Maine New Hampshire Vermont

My KLR is almost ready to be taken out of storage just waiting on a new rear tire and tube and charge the battery. If anyone is intrested in riding bring up ride topics in this tread.

Talking Puttin' the miles on again

I'm putting the miles on already this year. I've been riding now every day to work for a week or so. It should'nt be too long now before it's not so brutal in the mornings. Anyone in west central NH lookin' to go ride I'm game as long as it's not snowing again.

Ride and fish

I finally bought my fishing license and have had my bike on the road for a few weeks. Anybody up for a ride? I live in Loudon, NH on Hot Hole Pond, the pond opens for fishing next Sat. and the fish are biting in the local streams.

Let the planning begin

The autoroad reopens for the 2008 season May 3rd. Im up for a ride sunday the 11th a little bike and hike for my 30th! We can tons of vertical feet on the bikes in early season because of the low use.

Lets see what this generates for discusion.

No hike needed, I may take a lil' walk after we summit but if your serious ill be there sunday at noon to start up the mountain. I know its mothers day but it is also weather dependent. I am going to be watching the weather and getting a head count.

these are mostly NH climbing photos of myself but some pics from WY and CA.

I'm definitely serious about a ride up the auto road...providing the road is open to the summit by then. I see they're going to be open to the treeline this weekend, but they had quite a set back with the snow early this week.

I'm not much of a hiker, I'm so oughta shape I get winded like a blasted smoker.

I didn't see it was only open to tree line. I am still up for a little tour New Hampshire style all day Sunday. Lets keep an eye on the weather and think of a meeting spot. Looks like the Auto road will be in the middle for us seeing as I am from southern Maine.

Son-of-a-

I just realized I'm oncall for work next weekend so I can't go that far. I'll need to stay within 1.5 hours (preferably 1 hour) of Lebanon which pretty much means staying west of route 3. I'll probably end up grabbing my handheld gps and exploring the lesser known roads in Grafton county. The wife'll be spending time with her mother so I get a hall pass.
