I always run and suggest to others, always run 2 psi More in the skinny front tire than the wider rear tire. At least up to the maximum load limits and air pressures listed on the tire sidewalls.
Some are just totally amazed how much difference it makes in the handling characteristics, for the better!
Maybe it will do the same for road noise.
I kind of like a little road 'music' from my tires. Tho I will admit I do prefer to hear them in the corners. A riding buddy/customer had a Dunlop 606 Rear tire that was totally 'Obnoxious' if it was anywhere near me! And I wear ear plugs!!!
