I'm on facebook...hit me up.

So, if you would like to be friends on there, hit me up : Dan Mader. I'm the one with the riding gear on. I don't know most of y'alls real names, but I'd be honored to be facebook pals.

This seems like the simplest way of accomplishing that.

Hold it!! What?? Over??
But I never got a chance to join!!

I guess I'll wait and miss the next fad..

And Dan, if I were a Fartbooker, I'd be your friend on it.. Instead I'd rather just buy you a beer in person.. Now to get a service job in your area.. There's mills there.. I've been in them in the past.. grumble grumble..

It'll happen..

See if this works...

Paper, that would be awesome.

As far as facebook being dead, I have a long track record of catching the end of the party and I am kind of ambivalent about the whole thing. It has been helping my blog which was my goal.

Betty White hosted Saturday Night Live, the result of months of campaigning by members of the Facebook Page Betty White to Host SNL (please?)!. The Golden Girls star took the opportunity to both thank and ridicule her Facebook fans.

White commented in her monologue: “I really have to thank Facebook … I didn’t know what Facebook was, and now that I do know what it is, I have to say, it sounds like a huge waste of time. I would never say the people on it are losers, but that’s only because I’m polite. People say ‘But Betty, Facebook is a great way to connect with old friends.’ Well at my age, if I wanna connect with old friends, I need a Ouija Board. Needless to say, we didn’t have Facebook when I was growing up. We had phonebook, but you wouldn’t waste an afternoon with it.”

"It's a friggen motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you shit your pants every now and then. "

I'm too cool for Facebook.

If I wanted those idiots from high school to know where I was... they'd know where I was...

That was my feeling about it, too. Like I said, I started it to help get my writing out there. I have been found by a few people that I really shouldn't have lost track of though. It is what you make of it. Like here. I don't post when I take a crap, but there's probably no way I would have gotten the job I just got if it wasn't for FB/LinkedIn.

I understand both sides.
