Yes.
White Tail deer - muzzleloader and regular rifle season
Turkey - Spring shotgun season
Partridge (aka: Ruffed Grouse)
Occasional pests (like the fisher that got in the chicken coop or the red squirrel that chewed into the shed, etc.): but that's not really hunting.

Yep just upland now. Bird season opens in a couple of weeks and I've got a new shotgun!

Nice! I had to go to the laser-cast home page and then to testimonials.

I hunted with a Ruger 45LC Bisley revolver for a few years. The Ruger has a strong enough frame to load pretty hot with 300 grain hard cast. Cast my own.

Callifornia has banned lead for big game in several areas because of condors. I'm not going to shoot solid copper out of the Bisley, just wouldn't be right.

Squirrels with a .22 are about it for me anymore, mostly just because it's relaxing and a good excuse to go sit out in the woods. Sometimes I knock off a few tree rats, some times I wake up two hours later after taking an inadvertent nap.

You and I should hunt together.. That way there'd be snoring in stereo..

I deer hunt with gun, sometimes.. Usually in both IL and WI, but since I just got a 1/4 beef a few weeks ago I'm limiting my deer season to just a quicky in IL..

Other than that, occasional pheasants, grouse, and rabbits, but I do a lot of squirrel hunting... And sleeping in the woods..

I've found with age that while I enjoy hunting other stuff like ducks, I'm not a fan of eating them.. So if I don't eat em', I don't hunt them.. Luckily, I love eating squirrel!!!

Same here. Waterfowling is huge in this area and it's challenging and exciting, but I just don't like eating ducks or geese that much, contrary to the myriad claims of "you've just gotta know how to cook it." So, I gave up on it. Can't say as I really miss freezing my ass off in a blind or on the ground at 6 in the morning.
