i wish i could ride my klr like i didnt pay for it, i go soooo slow when riding in sand. The stock tires dont help too much with confidence anyways in the sandy stuff.

I wish my KLR was a 100 mpg diesel with torque like theres no tomorrow. I also wish I had the approx $10 Gs to buy the hayes diversified products KLR. I'd settle for an AF ABU paint job on my current ride, but digital tiger-stripe camo is a bit beyond my rattle can talents.

Diesels in Afghanistan

Some 101st guys left two broken diesel KLRs behind on my tiny little base in Afghanistan in 2007. I got them running with some help from our HMMWV contractor. I only got to ride one for a hour or so over a couple of days before the 101st guys found out they were running and took 'em back, somewhere up in the high mountains. It was before I owned my KLR, so I didn't really have a point of reference for comparison, but it was fun.

WHAT Come on boy… git out and ride that thing… trust me the bike you paid for will take 5 times the beating your body will. You choke on the BAT, you can’t hit the ball!!! Git your confidents UP… the bike will go anywhere.
I am not picking on you.. I am encouraging you….. I have the same bike you do. I know what the bike is capable of… stock tires and all.
