Jupiter, my Managuense (Jaguar Cichlid)/Texas Hybrid

Was up late last night with a bit of insomnia and found myself sitting in front of my tank at 3am, so shot a vid of Jupiter. Jupiter is the only left of a brood of Managuense/Texas cichlid hybrids I bred (on accident). He's also the only cichlid I have left in the tank because he's generally an ass. If you know aquaria, then you know what I'm talkin about.
Anyway, here's the vid. It's real short. But, I thought maybe you guys would dig it.
Cheers.

I have to admit, I know nothing at all about fish but I had to click on this thread just to see what it was. Unless you know fish, the title is just a jumble of unrelated words put together into a sentence, sorta like "Autrailian (firescubus) lettuce tweeder".
Anyway, nice fish (I guess). Is it in the Oscar family? It looks to be similar and you describe it as being a fighter.

I don't know much about fish except the ones I catch, but that's a nice looking fish.

It's a new world cichlid, like the oscar. Not so much a "fighter". Cichlids can be territorial and can be rather tenacious about defending what they believe to be their spot. Most of my other cichlids typically pick part of the tank or learn to share. Jupiter picked the entire tank as his own.
They're also predatory fish.
Fun fish to keep though. They are rather smart as fish go, recognizing faces and knowing the difference between when it's feeding time vs just cleaning up around the tank. I think he knows what the food bag looks like now. All my non cichlid fish just mindlessly swim around.
