Title Help

Ok… so I have been trying to sell my car for like a year now…. Yes… I sold it yesterday…. This is where I need your help…. Where in the hell would YOU have put the title???? I will look there, because every where I would have put it… It ant there.

I keep my title in a fire safe. You should be able to get a copy from the DMV or Dept of Records. Nebraska charges something like $20. I would check the tax file from the year you paid it off. If you haven't paid it off, the lien holder will have it.

I learned my lesson on this a long time ago because I can never find anything when I need it. EVERYTHING goes in the free safety deposit we get at the bank where my wife works.
