This Thing Is Wild

It's old news (3 years or so ago) but if you haven't seen the video of this thing, check it out.

big deal, I've been able to do most of that stuff for years, and alot quieter.
I would be impressed with something that can do things I can't do.

Im kidding, that's actually pretty cool.

I think it would perform exactly the same.

It seems kinda creepy to me for some reason. It's totally cool technology but seeing that thing walking over stuff and almost falling down makes it creepy.

I found it creepy, too. I think it's just intended to help troops carry stuff, but imagine being out on the battlefield at night and hearing that droning whine and seeing that thing coming at you out of the darkness. Good psy war ops. Thing needs a better muffler for the 2-cycle.

Hey, Kawasaki could build one. It would need to lift a leg when it leaks oil, but it would be mostly reliable and underpowered while getting poor gas mileage.

I'm just kidding, I support any effort to keep the people of Malysia employed.

I was actually just kidding the second time. I have no idea why you can't get more horsepower and mileage out of a new KLR 650 than my 1987 sportster had. Wait, that's only 21 years and we know how long it takes to design good 4-stroke engines.

Next week I ask the question "Why can't America build a diesel engine that doesn't sound like a washing machine full of ballbearings and springs?"
