Yeah, the Ecomobiles were built with early BMW K100 engines and chassis.. Put it this way, the K100's were last built in 1990 or 1991.. So, that video is more than likely well over 20 years old..

I think they fell out in the US because of the cramped seating. At 6'5" I doubt I'd fit.

Jeremy Clarkson is 6'5, There is an episode of top gear where he's driving around in a reliant robin (3 wheeled vw golf) constantly rolling it over, I've never laughed so hard at anything in my life.

Once you add the 5 mph bumpers, airbags and seatbelts, you have a little two-wheeled car with no a/c that gets cruddy mileage and falls over in a crosswind.

Good find. Amazing he can fit into those. I can't fit into a Dodge Viper so thinking I could fit into those mico cars seems impossible.

Yeah, I'd never seen an Ecomobile before. The music in the first part of the video is pretty funny. That old lady slings the thing around pretty well.

I didn't realize they were made in Switzerland. Those Swiss are all half-crazy.
