Those are some nice looking guns. I don't go to gun shows as I rarely have the money for another gun. I'm more into defensive shooting (my Glock is my favorite) but I generally appreciate and revere all guns.

A bad day on the bike is better than a good day at work...
There's no such thing as enough storage space...

I only go to 1 or 2 a year, I get a table and try to sell a few but people just keep coming up with all this stuff that I have always wanted or something really unusual and I cant resist.
Guns are one of the few things I really have a passion for.

I have one of those H/R .22 pistols. It might just be the angle of the photo, but yours almost looks like it has a bull barrel on it. Does it have a 9-cartridge cylinder? Is it a SA? I would swear mine's also a 940 but I might be wrong. The front sight also seems to be much more "refined" than mine, which is a crude, tall, half-moon-shaped blade.

Mine's been in the family for years and the cartridge ejector "tube" is on the right side of the gun. It's what I learned to shoot a pistol with when I was a kid.

Mine seized up on me a few years ago and it turned out there was a kind of white nylon bushing under the hammer that broke apart. I removed it and kept intending to get a new one from Numrich or somewhere.

It seems to function fine without it, but I'm wondering about the long-term consequences of the bushing/guide/whatever-it's-called not being there.

H/R guns are kind of ugly, but I've always been a fan of them.

Your Llama Super Comanche .44 mag is a Classic in my book. Nice find!

Thanks Planalp, the .22 does have a Bull barrel on it, I'm not sure of the mechanical side of it yet. I don't even have them home yet, but I did shoot them before I bought them and they all shoot really well. The H&R is a 9 shot I got it for $140, the Llama was $415. I don't think I did too bad.

I will be darned. I did some more research and I see it also has adjustable sights and is considered their "top of the line" revolver model, more of a target gun than my utilitarian small-barreled version, which I realize now is a 949, not a 940. Excellent find!

Last summer I picked up a like new condition 1972 Remington 870 Wingmaster for $150. The seller had purchased a collection of 30+ guns in an estate sale.

Prior to the wingmaster find, i used my benelli super black eagle semi auto for everything. Since picking it up, I took the wingmaster out every weekend for duck hunting last fall and a trip out to Mitchell, SD for some pheasant in November. Really like look and feel of the old pump action remington.

1926 Lefever Double Barrel 16 gauge. 300.00 at the pawn shop. That gun just feels right when you hold it. Feels like a part of you. Only gun lovers know that feeling.

I AGREE! You can't beat the feel of a classic double. When I get home I'll post pics of my baby.
