Today's the day....augh!!!

Well, today might be the end of my riding career....the daughter is going for her G2 driving test today. That means the world's worst passenger has to sit in the bitch seat for the day while she gets in the last few hours of practice before her test. Not that she needs them but better safe than sorry as the saying goes. I hate being in any seat that doesn't control where and how the vehicle operates, period!

So, today's the day......our insurance rates go up, her vehicle looses it's virginity,(no not the daughter!)and the rest of the world gets another teenage driver added to the mix. God help us!

BUT, the biggest problem now is....I have been driving her vehicle until today as I am truckless.....until I do a body swap on a set of rangers. The problem is I have so much other crap ahead of that job I am now going to be on two wheels only.....and it's COLD outside! Snivel snivel.....

Is it over yet??? Where the gravol, ....oh did I forget to say I get travel sick when not in control also......FACK!!!!

Well that didn't turn out for the best! She had a kid run out at a light while she was turning left and she hit the brakes hard and she was concidered at fault by the tester. Better luck next time.....she is pissed that she was penalized for the kid running into the intersection when he had the red flashing hand sign....but..oh well.

Willys,

I feel your pain. My Son, a freshman in College is practicing for his CDL. He is now driving on the freeway between San Francisco and Santa Clara with either my Wife or myself. He is a smooth driver but doesn't have the experience under his belt yet.

I have been vindicated as his limited time behind the wheel has opened up his eyes to all of the STUPID drivers out there. He now agrees with me when one goes and does something asinine.

I am apprehensive about putting him on the family plan but dont know what else to do. Thank God he enjoys riding a bicycle.

Life is a ride that should be thouroughly enjoyed. ATGATT!

Give my best to J and tell her to get a Stebel or a locomotive air horn. That would motivate the kid to move faster......or drop a load

It's looking like a nice weekend......time to ride, and speaking of teaching newbie's.....have to get the better half on her very first bike.

Since the Government of Alberta privatized the Department of Motorvehicles, I don't think anyone passes the Drivers Exam the first time. You have to pay again for each test. More money to the examiner.

From what I could see of the examiner he was a real piece of work.....I'm sure she'll be fine, it seems she has slightly rounder shoulders than I do.
Tony, give the better half some good luck from me with her new toy. Man that sounds bad...lol. Her new ride......damn even that isn't good for you...lol....OK her new motorized ride.....damn...I just can't get it right......tell her to ride sensibly and take it easy......and wear all the gear! Damn I have a dirty mind....lol.
I'm sure she'll be fine.....she's got a good teacher.

They did that here, too, with the result being a lot of offices/employees getting busted for providing invalid documentation to illegal aliens. I think the office here got nabbed for providing over 500 illegals with driver's licenses and state ID cards before they got caught.

Now, they give you a paper "license" and you have to wait 2 weeks to get your real one in the mail: no more producing/providing them on-site.

I've never been a fan of the privatized DMV offices. All you need is a buddy who's a politician and you get the next contract.
