I can't understand why anyone would have to cross the waters to study, we have plenty of schools here in the good ol US of A.

She is a prettyy girl.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

She attends USC here in the USA(she's there for this semester only)...she is a PreMed/Spanish major....once you go all the way up to college Spanish...the next step is to live in the country and speak it. Comprehende?

Thanks! She makes my heart sing!

Bonita Meha!

Swish, what a beautiful young lady you have for a daughter! The gene pool gods really smiled on her during the creation process. Where did those beautiful big brown eyes come from? I/we completely understand the foreign language immersion process. Our oldest daughter teaches Spanish or E.S.L. here in AZ. In fact she is the Instructional Specialist at her Alma Mater High school. She spent several months in Guaymas Mexico living with two Nuns. This allowed her to totally submerse herself in the culture and the language to learn from the locals. The pay back is/was immense. As a blond blue eyed Gringa she gets lots of compliments on her correct accent. We are also very proud of her as you are of your daughter.

Bill and Barb.... How cool that your daughter teaches Spanish. Her experience in Mexico must have been wonderful, and an adventure with stories she can pass down to her children someday. Keri is on her way to Paris tomorrow for spring break. Yet another adventure. Her dad has blue eyes...mine are brown but I can't take credit for her beauty...that radiates from within! Thanks for the kudos!

Hugs,

~Swish~
