Question What happened with klr650.net to make some to leave?

I guess I've been away for a while (spending time with future Mrs. 650 and my son). So what has upset so many to leave there? I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just trying to get an understanding.

I think the main thing was the server went down and all the information was lost for a long time.

A lot of little things that weren't worth bothering with anymore. I wasn't enjoying my time there anymore, and if it's not fun, why spend free time putting up with it?

Moved on.

Spam happens, just like the original statement of "sh-- happens".

I'm still on the other forum as well as this one. The other one just gets so much more traffic. I don't know what caused so many to leave awhile back, but the situation of the site being down for quite a long time wasn't good.

I do know the issue of porn has been debated to the point of being ridiculous. Why people feel the need to defend hainvg T&A on a KLR forum is beyond me. Like those who post the stuff think their photos are somehow the best ever found... I don't know. I guess they think nobody else knows how to use google to find porn and believe they are providing a service or something.

Spammers hunt down for forum locations like this. Pretty normal. I've reported spam on ADVRider numerous times. I just happened to be the first to find it. I've reported it here several times, too..
In fact, when reported, it's pretty amazing how fast it gets blown away. Sometimes in just a minute or two.

Just like bad commercials, they're a fact of life.

Now if I could just start getting spam on cheap bacon..
