You're a friendly bunch

After spending time on my new motorcycle's forum I've got to say this forum is a lot more pleasant place to be.

I've posted quite a bit over there but replys always seem snippy or dismissive. The off-topic forum is locked down pretty hard because of the rancor of some of the members. Sheesh, discussions here never became personally insulting even with topics that are forbidden there.

I don't have anything to contribute here now that I've left the fold but I check in once in awhile.

Anyways this is a great forum. I appreciate it more now!

That's what we all do here. This place is kind of like a going to rehab. Nice people with similar problems Everyone doesn't always agree but everyone gets along ok.

The KLR hasn't changed much in decades. If you talk much about it, you're just beating a dead horse but that ok too. It feels no pain. Welcome to the forum!

Spec,
Before you slip too far from the fold, I'd like to know your opinion of my oil flow modifications to the KLR, thus far. On open forum or by PM.

You were quite skeptical in the beginning, which I expected from all viewers.
I saw that on the 'other forum', also. I'm just glad you, other members and the moderators were able to follow along. It has been a real learning experience for all of us. I'm sure you will check on Toms progress.
Thanks for your input, on all threads.
Enjoy the new bike.

ps
Spec,
I wish I knew how to show only post #22 from "Oil Pressure, How much Ya' got?"

Hey right back at ya.

I love the bike, it was really a good move for me.

My KLR got better gas mileage though, It would get 50mpg no matter how I rode it. The Strom goes down to about 40 when I'm at highway speeds (about 75 mph here). Of course it's got a lot more motor left at those speeds!

Overall though

Good to see you hanging around, brother. Even if you do ride a real MC now.
