Don't know whether to be amazed or afraid.....Unlike the 4-legged Boston Dynamics "Big Dog" robots with what sound like chainsaw engines providing the power, these Atlas things are eerily quiet; like "you can hear the bones being crushed" quiet..........

It is/was amazing to me, to watch the robot stumble in the snowy woods. I've been there. You've been there.
It's info travels at the speed of light. So does ours.
But the Human reaction time and Accuracy are still +10 better!

I'm still impressed.

I think they could program it to ride a KLR very easily. Just add some fingers to work the clutch, throttle and brakes, give it the gpx tracks for the Trans-America Trail, a credit card for gas and turn it loose.

It wouldn't even need a torque wrench to do it's own repairs!
