Did you see it?

The Eclipse was cool. It didn't get as dark as I expected but it was really neat. The temp dropped 10 degrees and we got to see the lines on the ground that looked like waves. Neat!

Yes I did.
The wife and I rode about 40 miles North of Lander, WY to Pilot Butte Reservoir along side US highway 26.
There were only a couple dozen vehicles scattered around the lake and only 3 boats on the lake.

Was kinda' neat. Glad we took the half day off. Once in a life time.

US Highway 287 South thru Lander and WYO Hwy 789 South from Riverton to Lander has been a steady stream of traffic since about 1:30PM.

So, US 287 South to Rawlins WY (I 80 East) and WYO 28 South to Rock Springs WY (I 80 West) is probably nose to tail for all 100+ miles to each respective city. And I don't have a clue as to where they were parked to view the event.

Glad I was not in Grand Teton Park, I'm certain.

It was super cloudy here, so we couldn't see much. I was actually inside a Yamaha dealership when it actually happened, but it was eerie driving up there in the "dark". Eerie fun, not eerie bad.
