Are you still monkeying with the carbs on the Ninjette?
actually since the husky and klr are done, i've decided to reenergize my efforts and try to get the little ninja back on the road. i did send carbs back to gordon who found nothing wrong. changing out crankshaft position sensor as this could be the issue. waiting on timing cover gasket. will keep you posted.

in the books of a truly hero motor. the little ninja 250 parallel twin would take a top five. redline at 13000 and shift points at 9k plus the 250 lives where most motors dare not to go. it made short work of the dragon. sometimes too much power is useless at the gap.

enjoy the bike porn

Dang that is a big ass hex on the oil pipe banjo bolt on the Ninjette!

Good thing that most KLR owners don't have to monkey with one of them! They would strip the threads for sure!

not easy taking off timing cover. coolant lines/pipes have to be removed as well as oil has to be drained out😭

unfortunately i have been become quite addicted to the husky's amazing power and nimble feel. i find myself riding it more and more over the klr 692. i did what i could to make a motard out of a klr. might have been for nothing.

A couple of years ago over on 650.net site a guy showed pics of his Street Legal 2 stroke KX500 dragon slayer. I wonder if you have ever seen him & his bike on the roads down there?

There is always another weapon which needs to be sampled, yes?
