I know of three 2018 KLR's for sale at the dealerships in the Edmonton area. Two are the camo models priced at $7200 and $7000 and a black at $6900. Plus tax and dealer prep and who knows what else. They make a big deal that these bikes have been discounted $500. They have already lost more than that due to depreciation One dealership has been advertising the camo model for the past year. Since Kawasaki discontinued the KLR I think the demand and interest has gone down considerably. Add to that the many options available from other manufacturers people are just going to different, more modern bikes. Without a significant price cut I see those KLR's sitting there for quite some time yet. It will probably come down to Kawasaki offering some dealer incentive to clear them off the floor. If they were priced at $5000 I would grab a new one but at $7000 I'll save my bottles and buy something else.
