Two years...

Well, some of you actually have the good fortune of knowing my daughter Francine. Some of you don't. But today was her second birthday. Who'da thought a baby could surpass your intelligence in just two years. Anyway, we had a fun day. Frankie couldn't have been a better girl so I guess we're (probably my wife) doing something right.

Gave her a wooden pocket knife. God, it was cute. Pics to come.

So very cute! The 2nd pic looks like she's trying to regain her senses after a sugar high.

Thanks. She's on the bad side of it, now brother.

She's adorable for sure, Happy Birthday to her!

You probably hear this all the time but spend all the time you can with her. They start to grow up and get involved with their interests and Daddy time dwindles believe me.

BTW I thought that as a result of raising my girls I would be able to understand women better. Nope not a chance! Their ways are not our ways.

Thanks man, I will. It was a trip at the party watching the little girls ("let's have a tea party") vs the boys ("let's find stuff to smash").

I like tea and smashing stuff myself.

Just wanted to add that a bike can be a great thing to share with your children. Yes they grow up way too fast but I can tell you that both my girls (22 and 16) ask for rides on a daily basis. We have packed picnics in the top box and headed out gravel roads for a day of adventures and lakeside lunches.

Some of the guys I ride with DO NOT like taking passengers, I on the other hand value each and every ride with my girls.

BTW Spec, I still do not understand them and I have 4 sisters!

I spent a lot of time on the back of a motorcycle when I was a kid. Big, ugly, oily Harleys, too. (just kidding)

Luckily my daughter is young enough that I haven't had to go to the mat with my wife about that issue yet.
