Photos of Day 1..

Now in Missoula, MT.. Headed for Sheridan, WY tomorrow, but I'm taking a bunch of side routes..

And yeah, those are skiers..

I rode that huge batch of switchbacks just north of Lewiston. Speed limit was 35 and I think I slowed down to that speed a couple times.. Tons of 20 mph corners, one after another.. Great fun!!!

Thanks!! There's a guy here at the hotel on another BMW from Alberta, who's on his way down to Zion.. BS'd with his for a while.. Great guy!!

My favorite part of the day was when I stopped at a wayside about 30 miles south of Spokane to take a couple asprin, get a drink, and grab my camera.. I had 3 different guys ask me about the bike, and how long I'd had it?? Of course, all three laughed when I told them I'd bought it a half hour earlier...

One too many (actually 2, but who's counting)

The FZ6 will be going up for sale when I get home. Someone will be getting a great little sport touring bike that's really not that little..

I've got a guy who wants my R65, but I really don't want to sell it. It's a fun old bike, and I'm not really finished with it as a project..

I really don't want to sell any of them. But I do need the space. It's the problem with owning bikes that ALL have hard saddlebags..

As we all know, the KLR could easily be replaced by the GS, since both have pretty much the same duties, being a reliable commuter, sport tourer, and dual sport.. Problem is, I LOVE the KLR.. I had a blast riding it all over the place last weekend!!!

When I get back on Monday, I'll ride the GS into work on Tuesday, but Wednesday I'll go right back to the KLR.. It's a good ol' mule..
