Mother-In-Law's Rebel

My mother-in-law picked up a 2012 Honda Rebel 250 yesterday. Anyone have any experience with these?

I learned to ride on one decades ago. Unless much has changed, which I doubt, they are solid, fun little bikes. I saw an old one the other day and showed my wife and daughter. My wife wants one now. Bulletproof.

That's fairly consistent with what others have told me about these. It seems like a really nice bike for the price. I guess I'll probably be doing the lion's share of maintenance on it.

Nice! You'll be doing less maintenance than with the KLR. Oil changes.... Not so much vibration and abuse. These are great bikes.

As LJ said, they're pretty much bulletproof . Most of the MSF courses around here use the Rebels as their training bikes for new riders, they take a lot of abuse and just keep ticking along!
