V Strom Rack

Has anybody with a v strom actually find a decent aftermarket rack? Id love to have another cyclerack, but they dont currently offer one for the v stroms. I typically carry a filthy lunch bucket to and from work, so a rack works perfectly, since i dont have to worry about getting it dirty. My 07 v strom came with some huge Astra luggage trunk, but its just not for me. I didnt think it would be this tough to find a rack, but its proving to be a pain. Thanks!

Talk to Cycleracks; they may fabricate one for you, if they can get a donor "model" motorcycle.

They did this for my KLR250, now cataloged as a standard item.

Looks like a very substantial factory rack, Paper! Also, styling looks great, fits in with the theme of the bike.

Here's a Cyclerack on a KLR650:

The Cyclerack is designed to haul elk quarters; rather heavy loads. None has ever broken in service, according to the manufacturer, and has a lifetime guarantee should such an unlikely event occur:

A factory pannier and top case luggage set is available:

Here's a picture of my luggage set mounted, with auxiliary 1.25-gallon fuel containers:

Don't know if Cycleracks has an application for the V-Strom; while they could probably fabricate one, doubt the styling would approach the visual quality of the factory item.
