Please give me your review of that Ural as I have been looking at one for several months now.

Whatever makes you happy...

Where in NW Florida are you? I'm just east of Panama City.
I ride a 650 strom now, but still like to explore dirt roads.
I would love to see your Ural.

But you have to help me. If you don't then I have to ask complete idiots for help and you know how unreliable they can be.

Hello Ogre,
I'm 15 miles east of Marianna off hwy 69.
Do you ever get up this way?
I'll be letting the gearup "eat" a little this weekend.

Carl V,
I bought my gearup new a year ago,it is running very good with no major problems.
New Urals tend to have a certain amount of "gremlins".Once you get them sorted out
it is pretty reliable. Not a "gas and go" like a Jap bike.
You have to enjoy wrenching a little bit.
Checkout the website (Russian Iron) It tells all you want to know about Urals,Dnepr, Changs...etc..
Riding a sidecar bike is SO different from a 2 wheeler.
New Urals come with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty!
How many other bikes have that?

Hey Rockyspike,

Yea I run up that way. Most of my day trips either head your way then into Alabama or towards Apalach.
There are some great red clay roads starting near you heading north into Alabama.
There is a canyon type place I ran across not far from Mariana that was real cool too.

Shoot your real close to Treeman, I think he's in Seads.

Keep in touch here, we'll try to hook up after thanksgiving if you want.

But you have to help me. If you don't then I have to ask complete idiots for help and you know how unreliable they can be.

Hey Ogre,

Let me know when you're riding this way.
I talked to Treeman. He and I are planning on riding around here in the next day or 2.
We should all plan a ride together in Dec.
Let's ride!

P.S.
The Ural 4 speed trans. cruising speed is 50-55mph,60mph is W.O.T.
It's designed for Russian roads, period.
Sure is a blast to ride though.
