Oh, so Shell makes electrons!

"I will look for the highest energy electron shell, then. It's all just physics. You're a fine man", Tom said energetically.

Lockjaw, explain...

Explanation. Tom Swifty. Wikipedia is your friend. And Tom is better at this than me. But basically, you write a line of dialogue and end it with "tom said [something related to the dialogue}

"A Tom Swifty was a cool word game made famous by the character Tom Swift," Tom said playfully.

Here's a better one.

"Man, it's cold as shit and about to get colder!" Tom said icily.

If Tom Swift had been a badass, which he CERTAINLY wasn't.

Half the fun is in the layering. If you can get a pun, double-entendre, or obscure reference in, so much the better.

"Fine man. Get it?", Tom said jokingly....

A guy even did an Iron Butt on a Zero. Our closest dealer is in Calgary, I'll have to take one for a spin if I ever get down there.http://blog.motorcycle.com/2014/09/1...ic-motorcycle/
