KLR 250 vs 650 spring rate

I had our engineering dept at our university compare 650 vs 250 spring rates.
this is what they got.
Old charge is the 250.
Deplacement is French for compression lenght.

Won't speak for Jeepflambe, Scrapper, but . . . my interpretation:

The KLR650 spring is somewhat stiffer than the KLR250 spring.

For example, from the chart, for 4 cm of deflection, the 250 spring must be loaded with 422 lbs; the 650 spring requires 465 lbs for the same deflection.

And so on.

While the spring rates appear to me surprisingly close, given the difference in weight between the 250 and the 650, the spring rate's not the whole story--the suspension geometry may play a major role in ride and handling quality.
