Tengai help needed

I gotta act fast on this

"tengai" without gas tank for real cheap.

Does the KLR share same tank?

I don't think so,
looking at partzilla.com, I see different part numbers
looking at pictures the tanks have the same shape, but different fastener locations.. That may be the only difference. It would probly be easy to braze a bracket onto the tank for that top fastener. (of course, you'd fill the tank with water first.)

if it's a good deal, buy it anyways. (or send the info to me maybe...lol)

Its a 91 $200 sans tank and its half a days drive, although Ive driven further for far less.

I just looked at a tengai gas tank on ebay, It looks identical except for the attachment points. It wouldn't be hard to make a klr tank work.

I have never heard of a Tengai. Looks similar to a KLR. Same bike, different region or just a completely different model?
