Puget Sound Tech Day?

Anyone have any work they need to get done before the weather starts to turn? I am due for a valve check again - Had some help the last time and could use the advice again. Let me know if anything is in the works - I'm not really in a place to have a group over or I would offer to hold it here.

I'd be up for a tech day, my friend and I are about to do a valve adjustment this weekend, Sunday most likely. I need to check to see if the previous owner did the doohicky. I'm located in Tukwila, Wa. Would you happen to have done the doohicky yourself? It could be a helpful trade off of advice... Let me know what you think.

Howdy Neighbor ! I'm a little East of you in Ravensdale. Just popped for a 2014 new edition. I bought a new thermobob but the dealer in Enumclaw discourages against installing it. Any thoughts on the matter ?

Did the dealer give a reason for not installing a Thermo-bob?? Personally I can't see one and wouldn't hesitate to install it.

The thermo-Bob I installed works perfect, consistent engine temp is important. unlike stock bouncing from where the fan kicks in to just off the cold mark all the time. I installed mine at 500 miles. wouldn't have it any other way.
