Over the top Wenatchee to E-burg

First sorry for the lack of pics.... last week I got a wild hair to ride over Colokum pass (spelled wrong) I got right up on top and was stoped by snow. After unloading my bike and digging it out by hand I walked the last half mile to the pass and figured there was no way to get over so I hiked back and rode down the rocky road untell I noticed on my forest map a road that headed south closer to the river, the short of it is I found my way around to the far side of the pass via other rather gnarly wahed out roads, apparently there was a fire back there and the state bulldozed out the snow comming in from E-burg....lots of flowers snow rocks and mud..... Paz...

Hehehehe...don't you just love adventure? Even better on a KLR!!! Sounds like you had a good day of exploring.

Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.
