DOO and 22cent mod

Anyone near Newberg that has the tools for the doo interested in helping another out another KLR riderrr? I am pretty mechanically inclined and just need someone to walk me thru, I also have a shop too. But I can come to yours, either way the beer is always cold and on me.

Or if someone wants to bear the burden TECH DAY........

let me know

I'll bump this because 1) I have the doo tools (Portland/Clackamas area) and 2) I could use some support doing a valve check/maybe adjust...

Thanks

Sorry to bump an old thread but I just picked up a KLR so I have a few things to sort out on the bike. Also given the change in weather it is always a good time to get the bike ready for either winter riding or storage if you are a fair weather rider.

I just ordered a bunch of stuff and plan to be in the garage in a couple of weeks time doing the mods. If anyone in the Portland area wants to drop over we can arrange maintenance meet up. I do not have the doo tools, so if you want that or anything else specific we would need to get them. I do most maintenance on my other bikes myself however I am new to the KLR so we might need to keep it simple unless you have better knowledge than me.

I have space, general tools and a table to make life easier. Just reply to the thread if interested and I can setup a time.
