This is why I love my KLR

Today some buddies and I decided to shoot some skeet after school, and I volunteered to go get some shells and clays. I had forgotten I was on my KLR but no worries I had no trouble bringing them home!

Good deal! Way to adapt and overcome. I was in town 30 miles away one time when my wife called me to tell me she needed a battery (a very large one) for her Durango. That's probably the biggest, heaviest, spur-of-the-moment item I've had to haul on mine.

nice!
although no where near a battery those were actually pretty heavy probably 25lbs plus the 200 rounds on top of them in my tail bag. I could feel it a little in the curves on the way home.

What kind of tail bag is that? Is it specifically made to be a tail bag or is it something else you found? I'm looking for something to replace the old backpack I've been using in the same fashion.

That has been asked and answered. I believe that both Mark and Paper have done extensive studies.

It may be hard to search for, but here are a couple of testimonials:

My strong recommendation is that any beer/KLR related issues be taken up with the Beer Moderator. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble on the research end of things...

But of course! What kind of forum lacks a Beer Moderator? Terribly uncivilized.

We have a Bacon Moderator as well. All the important food groups are covered.

I figure my first post would be about Bacon what a awesome food group. I am in the process of getting my first KLR have been looking for a while.

Picking up a 96 with 3000 miles on it maybe it's first run I will take it on a Chicken Fried Bacon run on the backroads of course.

Anyhow hi from Texas.
