It's alive! :)

Well, not really a photo but more of a short crappy video... Lol, shot from my phone so that's my excuse for the jiggly. Picked up my new tag for the plate today and stuck the battery back in, she fired right up once the gas filled the bowl again (drained it in the beginning of November for winter storage). Missed the hell out of this sound, now if we could just do something about the snow / ice / salt I would be riding... Lol!

P.S. I know it's too clean but I washed it before I put it into hibernation... Might still be one or two of last years bugs on the windshield though!

I'm right there with you Stew! Broke my KLR out of hibernation today. Tossed the freshly charged battery in her, fired her up and did a 50 mile lunch run. Nothing beats the first ride of the season. I'm still not putting the snow thrower away just yet! You guys and gals that live in the year round climate don't know what you're missing! But, I know what I'm missing so I may be moving in next door to you soon!

I hear 'ya. I'm looking forward to my first ride to work in about 4 months. Looks like I'll be able to ride to work every day this week.

I hear you on that one. The past 4 years I've been in both Phoenix az and now I'm in charleston sc. Can not beat the year round motorcycle riding. I admit I do miss snow every once and again but I don't think I could go back to just having a motorcycle "season".

i lived in the far north my whole life. and thats one of the biggest reasons i live in new mexico now. it sucks going into a garage with a motorcycle in it and not be able to ride. even when the weather is crappy here i still ride. and no winterizing for me.

Never ride faster than your angels can fly
