Killer

Hi, this is / was my bike. Still is for that matter.
The summer pic was last summer here on a ride in the mountains, and the winter shot is from Jan here locally. Since then, I ruined the paint job by hitting a deer. The bike came out, but missing the entire front cowl. So......
I managed to get all parts again, from an 08 in green.... will show it off when I get it done. the forks are twisted some, but might pop back when the bolts are loosened....probably. No, they aren't dinged, or oozing oil.... just got the center cowl in so I can get to it shortly.

Thanks! nice right? I found the Kawi stickers online at ebay, and the Maine sticker from a shop in Bar Harbor... I am fond of the state and call it my second home. ...folks still reside there.
Man, that yellow is a hard application and powder coating would be my next option.... but what to do about the rubber seal?... you would have to strip it off prob. made the pan rack myself for 35 bucks. Pretty easy if you have a torch and welder.... cans were 50 bucks, the drawer pulls were 12 or something.
they add about 35-40 lbs to the whole bike and not too uncomfortable, and super handy when just store hopping.

Yeah, the seal would be the only problem with powder coating them. I think they look good how they are!

I think so also. I wear a hi vis helmet that sort of matches. I just thought that yellow would be easier to spot in traffic... plus it looks pretty sharp. lol

copy it. I used matt black paint and whipped it together. The yellow however, took maybe 8 coats to get it to work. There must be something better out there than the way I did it. Krylon makes a fantastic paint for plastic and I did the front/rear fenders with black. One coat worked pretty good... and whose to know any better?

A coat of white first and the yellow shows up a lot better and with less coats.

Now you know for the touch ups for when someone else scratches your bike.
