Arizona is great, just the place for a KLR, and even better when you can ride with seven other KLR's and enjoy the scenery.

Got my new graphics on the KLR today to liven it up a little. What do you guys think? Honest opinions, please. I like the "Kawasaki" strips, but am still pondering the "KLR" tank stickers. The tank was the only place I could put them. In the photo, they look like they're too far back on the tank, but they're actually a little forward and as close to the fairing as I could get them. I debated on angling them the other way, but they seemed to look better angled this way.

The set included some "650" stickers I intended to put on the side panels, but unfortunately what I thought was a white background wasn't a background at all and the decals were all-black, so they did me no good.

If anybody has any use for them, I have two black "Kawasaki" decals about an inch tall and six inches long and I'll send them to you for free. They're the kind where you peel away a clear top layer and only the letters remain once they're applied: more of a "decal" than a "sticker."

I like the "KLR", but they do look a little far back. I prefer the huge Gen 1 KLR decals, but are hard to fit to the Gen 2 fairing and tank.
Green on black......... I like it.

Hi planalp!
I like it too!! You could put the black Kawasaki stickers on the swing arm. It looks a little plain there!

I think I'll stick with them (pun intended). They actually look better in person because the location of the tank stickers makes sense when you see where the tank ends and the fairing begins.

The nondescript all-black was getting a little too "Agent Smith." It was like the thing was always saying "Missterr Aaanderrrson!" The Matrix for those not in the know.

I thought the swingarm was reserved only for stickers regarding lubes, oils, suspension components, etc. I don't want to violate any unwritten laws here.

Update: Think I found an appropriate swingarm sticker:

Here's my 2012 KLR with SW Motech crash bars. Soon I'll have the tusk handguards and panniers to haul my stuff. ImageUploadedByMO Free1365175443.994167.jpg

Haven't done a lot. Cramp buster, eBay plastic guards on the back, Emco tail box. The Mule is my daily ride, 7,000 miles since I bought her in July 2012. This was taken before the plastic guards, nice little ride South of Lake Pleasant, AZ

God Bless,
