awesome stuff. I definitely need to try to get out to your neck of the woods someday. Those trails/roads look like a lot of fun (I can only hope that they are dirt-noob friendly)

Well- yeah all those are day rides from home. The furthest is maybe 15 miles from here. The XL belongs to a local kid that kept trying to get me to ride this singletrack with him, so I finally did. It was pretty fun. My wife just got a '77 yamaha 100 Enduro, though, so she'll be riding with me soon!

Probably a dumb question but,
Do you enjoy any big annual group rides in Colorado like we do in Oklahoma?
It must be great to have such scenic areas to Roost right outside the door!
Cheers,
Rod

Love the pics, Duke! I have to say that you're the man for single trackin' that thing.

Are you still riding this time of year over there? My ride's on its center stand in the back of the garage, lookin' pretty cold and lonely these days. The peaks loading up with snow has me thinking about making turns instead of shredding berms. I did get in one last hoo-rah in the desert a couple of weeks ago . . . that was a hoot! We camped northwest of Moab and did some really fun loops out there. I'm looking forward to spring and more of that.

Hey Highcountry! Good to see you here! Yep, riding every day! I've found some cool roads lately. We only get 11 inches of TOTAL precipitaion here in Salida, so no snow. The hills to the east stay pretty much dry year round and there are a ton of cool roads with sand, rocks, jumps, etc. Ifn you can get your bike over here sometime....

I'm also teaching Tami how to ride her own bike. Check out the video I posted in the Western regional section.
