My first Video

I now have a Gopro and while I confess I look like a dork with a cam on top my helmet having a ride video is pretty cool

Which GoPro do you have? I've just started to do road testing of my GoPro Hero2

First try at mounting was a bust. Put it in front of windshield. Vibrated to much.
I'm going to try mounting it to the right side of handle bar. Stiffer mount.

My approach is to try it on the bike, fixed. I turn my head way to much while riding to put it on the helmet, even though it's more stable there.

Mounted mine on top of the front brake master cyl., it picks up some of the dash and handguard, but work well for me.

Looked like a nice ride, no snow.

First ride of the season.

My first ride of the season on the KLR. ( April 15, 2013 ) Just a short video down one of our local abandoned roads here in New Hampshire. Still some snow/ice in places.

Had to be kind of careful as my rear tire is getting close to replacement time. Still enough to pass inspection, but getting slippery in mud.

The video was shot with my GoPro Hero2, mounted to the right handlebar, making for some jitter in the video.

Here’s pix’s of the mounting..

Looks good but why didn't you just use a suction cup with a tether?

It's more fun making stuff, and experimenting as to what works best.
