couple pics of my beater..

it's an 07 with right at 47,000 miles.... so far!

i bought it new, but no pics of that... i mean... who wants to see a shiny new klr?

i am pretty good at tearin chit up, even with a brief period with street tires mounted... i believe that was 2nd time i trashed that plate holder. the 3rd was with 606's mounted and it ripped the whole schpeel off and jammed it tween swingarm n tire. had to make a trip to bmv for nuther plate after that.

so... i mounted under tail light.... no more munched plate.

i really been strugglin with flats lately... 5 since last fall!!

she is no beauty queen..

but it's been the best bike i ever owned..

she's been round the block...

A great bike and great pics, tpar1220: the epitome of what a KLR is and should do! Looks like you get a lot of good use out of it. What's up with the recurring flats? Are you running over stuff and getting punctures? You're getting a lot of practice with tire repair, eh? Again, great pics. Thanks for posting them.

i dunno... all but one were punctures. the last one (two weeks ago) was seam in side of tube let go. weird... maybe something was trapped in there but small tear right on seam.

That tunnel picture is pretty scary. It reminds me of the tunnel where the clown in IT attacks.

Cool pics! Nice bike, too. I like the fuel reminder.

I notice in the pic of the tank the fuel valve is set on reserve. What is the malfunction you previously mentioned?

Nope, it's "Off".
