New pictures / new tires

I mounted a new pair of Explorers on Sunday and had the bike out all week here until today. Today we had light snow & freezing rain conditions. The Mefo's are a great improvement over the Michelin T66's I had on. With the T66 on I couldn't get out of the driveway. I would run a more aggressive tread but the amount of road use I have to do will knock them out every 2K.

Here's some fresh photos of my Goldwing. Remember when I first started posting here, some of the guys thought I didn't like KLR's because I complained about the cost and need for all the mod's?

be sure and watch your air pressure on those mefos, i ruined my rear by leting them get to low and running on the road.
was really bummed, they started throwing lugs at 5k and still had over half the tread left.
lesson learned the hard way.

How low did the air pressure get that it ruined the tire?

I have them at about 32 front & rear. What do you think? More / less? I have lots of blacktop to run.

Oh yeah, the chain is new

Should be ok there.I ran 32 to 35 in the rear.30 to 34 in the front. The problem I had with the front was serious cupping, and building a ridge in the middle.I played with the air pressure in the front and never did get a handle on it Off road I ran as low as 10 to 12 lbs in the rear and did great. On gravel roads 18 to 22 seemed to work very well.I have completely wore out 3 sets and just ordered 3 more from here.

Fender Mod

I love that front fender mod. Can you tell me where you got it and how you mounted it.
