Great looking '07!! I have the same year and same color. Looks like you have modified your headlight. My headlight puts out very little light and I was hoping to upgrade to some type of LED headlight. Is that what you have done?

Thanks Paradog! It's the JNS LED headlight. It's much brighter than stock and an easy swap. Just google "JNS LED KLR" and you'll find it.

Nice farkles man. You've got me considering new handguards… And what brand is that windscreen?

Thanks Samuel, the windshield is made by Parabellum. The make a few windshields for the gen 1. This one is their tinted rally shield. I highly recommend it.

Very nice bike. ... more road biased than mine but I spy some pretty nice stuff like the JNS headlight and Cogent stickers! :-)

Cheers,
Dave

Thanks Dave, You guys that have posted a lot over the years really helped me with the bike, from fixing to farkles. I'm in the Northeast so it's more setup as a camping/adventure bike for class 4 roads than as a dirtbike.

It has cogent springs and DDC's in the forks and a MOAB rear shock. Other than the headlight it has the JNS aux-light mount and footpeg brackets. 320 EBC front rotor with SV caliper. Mitas E-07 tires. 2014.5+ seat. It's not on there in the pic (had just replaced water-pump seals) but it has a Happy Trails skid-plate. Pro-taper Henry Reed bars and riser. Blade fuse upgrade. Gen 2 header. KLX needle and more. I'll never sell it, not only because I'd never get back what I have in it, but because I love this thing.

Great looking bike! Does that Parabellum Rally windshield help reduce the helmet buffeting at highway speeds? With the stock Gen1 windshield I find I need to either stand up or duck behind the shield to stop the buffeting at 60+mph, with neither being really practical.

Thanks Chririder. The windshield does help a lot. I'm 6'3 and when sitting the buffeting used to hit me in the neck and now it's at the very top of the helmet. I don't do a lot of highway, but they do make taller screens than this one.

"Wandering Beast" has a youtube video review. If you google his name and parabellum rally you'll find it.
