KLR Costco Run

So, I know that NORMALLY the KLR is a B-E-A-U-tiful machine, so dont judge me on those ugly saddle bags (or the messy garage). Thought I would just share my costco run with the good ol' KLR. And, no, i did not forget the toilet paper, we have plenty... they were all out of it, anyway.

I should ride my KLR to Costco, I would save a lot of money. We have on average an hour long wait to get into a Costco. With our current weather Iím staying away.

9:00 this morning Wal-Mart had toilet paper (an entire isle), hand sanitizer, a fairly good selection of canned foods and Emergen-C......absolutely no wait and only a handful of customers.

Everybody I know seems to think the only store in the world is Costco.

I acquired a 12 pack of 'Value Corner' TP and a small box of nose wipes from Safeway this AM, along with my necessary bag of sugar for my coffee!
Stay safe guys & gals.

I tried to get into COSTCO the other day at the "seniors hour", 0800-0900. I got there about 0750 and the line outside was clear to the end of the store. They were letting people in every few minutes from what I could tell but by the pace of it I figured I'd be standing outside in the damp, 40 degree weather for about 45 minutes. No thanks. Two other oldsters that I was walking with also went back to their cars.

I then went to the Albertson's grocery store near me the following Tuesday during the 0700-0800 oldster time. The store was near empty, shelves were well stocked, to include TP, with numerous employees asking me if I needed assistance whenever I looked confused as to where something was.

I walked out with everything I needed. Great store.
