First Farkles

Today I added the Happy Trails nerf bars and luggage racks, skid plate. Removed a bunch of bolts and lock tighted them and reassembled. Got a bit to go before its ready for summer adventures but its getting closer.

Nice. I did a lot less than that today, but I did do a little tweaking on the killer and the 73 Honda. Both had to be ridden multiple times to make sure everything was OK of course. Too bad, cause it was "cleaning day". Ahh, well. You gotta make sure you keep em running I guess, huh?

Great looking.....even if it is blue (the red ones are faster). You're gonna' love it even more once that white crap clears out. Why aren't you feet on the pegs ;-).

Gray-haired riders donít get that way from pure luck.

My wife snapped the shot as I was pulling to a stop. Between the snow, sub freezing temps its taking way too long to get the break in done, I cant wait til the white stuff goes away.

But.. But...

It's winter and I like riding my snowmobile this time of year..

I'm actually dreading Tuesday of this week because it's supposed to hit 34 degrees.. Not enough to lose the 12" of snow on the ground right now, but it's actually too warm to ride snowmobile.. I rode last night when it was -4 and had a blast..

Only problem with something like that is that you'd freeze your dohickey off in cold weather. Engine heat in front of you is a good thing..

Those nerf bars look nice, I like mine! I didn't have the guts to get out on the snow packed road until the last few days, you look happy but terrified ;-)

Farkled probably WAY too much, but good 20' footer for sure. '96 KLR, '06 HD VROD, (girl friend hauler), '05 HD Electra-Glide, heh it's a HD and I'm old now ;-) and I'm proud of riding a 800+ pound bike at my age :-)
