History
Purchased this in April 2017 with 7,000 miles on it. It had only logged 40 miles in the last two years and just had a (AAAAHHUMM BS) major service for $287 at the Kawasaki Dealer. After changing the super dirty oil and filter and disintegrated air filter. it still idled bad. At first, I had to use the "choke" on half or more to make it idle and hit the throttle hard to keep it from stalling, until the main jet kicked in. I finally found a way to clean the pilot jet with out taking anything apart and it is now like new again. Using Synthetic Kawasaki 10w40 motor oil. Keeping it clean, but riding it every day. I have a new Doohickey and I will install it next oil change at say 10k or so. Needless to say, I don't trust the dealer or anyone else to touch this bike. Better go and wipe it down now...
