11/15/2016 - The bike was sitting in a warehouse with a half tank of gas for 4 years and never run - had only 1500 miles on it. Heard that some "stuff" came out the exhaust when someone hooked up a new battery and tried to start it a year ago. I acquired the bike, emptied the gas, cleaned and rebuilt carb, changed the oil/filter, cleaned the air filter, put in a new spark plug, fresh battery and Sea Foamed the crap out of the gas tank. Did the 22 cent mod and set the idle screw back to where it was at 3 turns out (still evaluating). With a few adjustments, the bike fired right up (with a ton of smoke). I've taken it on a couple few hour rides and it is slowly "re-breaking in." Smoke is gone and engine is smoothing out. So far it's a blast!
