I get every other Friday off, but this upcoming Friday is the working Friday. I rode this Friday with TroutAngler up around Pedlar Creek.

Riding today!

Looks like a good low humidity day. I am going to ride all day. I'll probably be somewhere between Peaks of Otter and Buena Vista.

Email to: [email protected] for my location update...and catch up with me if you can.

Sat. Ride (2nd 5 of 10 pics)

Moto-Guzzi rider was from Lancaster, PA (originally Sweden). He was here for a "Meet and Greet" Moto-Guzzi ADV-Rider event in Buena Vista. His MG counterparts all wanted to ride the blacktop. He wanted to hit the dirt. I was his "local" tour guide and I showed him my favorite rides. He was up to the challenge on that 450lb. monstrocity. I was the one who got the rubber side up. No damage. No blood...just mud.

I bet I have passed you in miles on the bike. (3400 now). However, looks like you are having all the fun!!!! I will admit to a LOT of envy. Keep those pics coming so I can live vicariously. Most of my mileage seems to be commuting. I haven't had much time last few weeks. Since the end of May, my grandmother passed away at the age of 97, I have been cleaning and reorganizing my garage and doing some wiring around the house, and then the tech for WV left, so I am covering WV and VA. I did close to 1000 miles traveling for technician and sales calls just this past week. Furthermore, my main job still has me cut to 35 hours a week even though I am covering both territories and trying to do sales calls too. This is necessitating my working an extra shift on my PT job in order to make up for the drop in hours.

Dale, if I can get away with it, I am simply taking this upcoming Friday. I have put in enough time to justify it. I want to show you an I treating route. Can you meet me at the stop in/Burger King at the in terse tion of rt43 and rt11 in Buchanan?. I can show you what I want to show you, then we can hit anywhere along the trails you have discovered. I can't make this firm yet, but if I can do it, I will.

4th of July

Here is a patriotic KLR pic. After all, it is "the 4th".

Anyone who knows where this is? Here is a clue: Ever heard of being "Up Sheep Creek"? In this case, down Sheep Creek, but wow, what a twisty little goat path. Found this when I finally came out the other end. How appropriate!!!!

Have a nice 4th of July.

I stand corrected: This is a place called "Reba". I think someone told me incorrectly that this was Sheep Creek. The starting point is hidden at Peaks of Otter.
