KLR 650 gets 4 seconds of fame

A project I've been involved with over the past couple of years made the television news in West Virginia tonight.

http://wboy.com/story.cfm?func=viewstory&storyid=97746

Click on the video. When "Susan" comes on the screen, she is drowned out by the awesome image behind her. That Marker finding beast has sniffed out a big chunk of the 800+ markers we've documented. All hail the mighty KLR.

More info on this interesting project can be found here

Eagle Rocks??

Funny,

There is Eagle Rock in Botetourt county that looks a lot like that one. Then there is a Salem and a ROanoke, WV as well as these cities being in VA. There is a Buckhannon, WV and a Buchanan, VA. (The residents of the VA Buchanan pronounce it the way the WV one is pronounced.)

So really, it is no surprise that there is an Eagles Rock, WV. I like WV a lot except for certain parts of it south of Charleston. Lots of good folk live there as well, but there is some rough elements there that screw up the whole place. That is the opinion not from me, but a guy that actually grew up in that area.

For any of you that live there, no offense is meant.

That's pretty cool and a neat project to undertake.
