Thumbs up TdT II May 18, 19, & 20, 2007

I thought I would start a thread for Tour de Tellico II with all the needed info. The dates as listed in the title are May 18, 19, & 20, 2007. The event will be held at Cherohala Motorcycle Resort in Tellico Plains, TN, click the link to go to their site http://www.cycleresort.com/ . At last years event there were around 50 KLRs, this year I am sure will even be larger. That area of TN, and NC boast some great riding, if you like blacktop, gravel, or dirt TdT has it. Don't forget your camera there are some awesome photo opps around every turn. Mark your calenders at work now for vacation time, you don't want to miss it. See ya there.

Reminds me of the hailstorm. I happened to be in the shower at the time, under that tin roof. My ears are still ringing.

More fool stabilizer, please.

Tumbleweed posted this over on 650.net, so I thought maybe it would help some of you.

Hello Everyone,

I just got off the phone with Renee at Cherohala Motorcycle Resort.

She asked if I could post up some info for her:

The cabins are reserved. She recieved some emails and put everyone on a list that wanted cabins. There are only 7 and they filled quickly.

There is plenty of tent camping,

and if you are curious.. the Cycle Camping referenced on the site is for Motorcycle Camper trailers that have electric hook-ups. Sounds a bit fancy for this crowd, but there is probably one in the bunch.

No reservations required for tent camping, however Renee would appreciate an email if you are attending so she can have a rough count on how many are attending.

mailto: [email protected] or call 423-253-6544

I'm tenting it.

See you there.

She called me this week and asked if I still wanted a cabin, I said no I had bought a MH and we would be staying in it. She implyed that we could park it there, and yes she knows it is 37 ft long, so maybe they are expanding to larger campers this year.
Last year Mark wouldn't let Floyd bring his travel trailer there. We will be there, but I doubt we park our MH there, we will be a few miles down the road.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
