Cuhutta DS Ride, 2018

Hey Guys! The end of the 'scheduled rides' season is quickly approaching, unfortunately.......but we can send it out with a great gathering at Cuhutta DS ride!

Randall has a spare 'house' available for people staying over, so even if you are far away, make your way over to Casa de JohnRandall. They are always generous at feeding us and giving us a great place to lay our heads! Many of us like to contribute as well. I always bring my Banana Pudding......but you better hurry.......it's sometimes gone before Saturday comes around. Ha!

There are great local trails for those seeking some ATV/dirtbike opportunities..........and of course plenty of great Adventure riding available, as well!

Who: All welcome! Something for everyone!
What: Cuhutta DS Ride
Where: 786 Crandall Elijay Rd. Chatsworth, GA https://binged.it/HLua4L
When: Weekend before Thanksgiving.......Nov. 16-18
Why: Randall and family enjoy having us out to celebrate another great year of riding!

Rider..........................Steed.............. .......Days
Johnrandall...................KLR650.............. ...Fri-Sun
cherokee_chuck.........KLR719/KLX650R.......Fri-Sun
sdhall1973....................XR650R.............. ..Fri?/Sat

FRIDAY - We traditionally split up and have a short aggressive ride and an ADV ride on Friday morning, before meeting back for lunch at Randall's place. This also gives folks coming in a little later, to meet up for an afternoon ride.

SATURDAY - We love taking this day to do some longer distance mix of FS roads and scenic routes for everyone to see! Maybe this year, we can include BBQ at the Pink Pig for lunch......and just down the road from there.........Expedition: BIGFOOT!

SUNDAY - While some folks have to head home........several of us like to get in a great 1/2 day or so of riding of places that we either didn't hit .....or.....want to go hit again!

Keep Loving Rides!

Hi,
I’m in Tidewater VA and noticed you have “scheduled rides” planned. 2018 completed of course, but do you have a 2019 ride schedule and details of how to get in on them?

I just made the 2019 calendar thread. Our new ride beside the VA line is....Shady Valley Ride, the first weekend in June. Of course, there are many other rides that I think you would enjoy!

Great. How advanced? I’ve got some adventure training, ( two day school) and whatever trouble I can get in locally for the last couple of months. Have had my 2015 KLR for 4 months.

In 2017, we hit mostly twisty pavement and FS roads in this region. It will probably be more of the same.......so more Adventure Riding than DS riding. Though, there is a trail system north of this area that I will probably lead a smaller group to ride.....for those interested.

Thanks, so just drop my name if I plan to participate then? Do most riders camp? I'm definitely interested in trail riding.
